Kansas Twilight Stream For this painting I was stumped. I realized I had one landscape, two barn paintings, and three with water. Looking over them I felt as if my landscape was missing something, and that's when I knew I wanted another waterway painting. I found a photograph from a Kansas photographer that was overlooking a lake. It was a dark sunset and so I realized I just wanted to use the composition. The sky I took from a painting with a similar layout. I took a lot of details from my first lake painting
